Nikon D1X
This camera is a 5.4 megapixal Digital SLR. It is a great camera, images can easily get enlarged to 13"x19" or larger. The D1X can shoot three frames per second and take 20 consecutive frames before the internal buffer runs out (with the upgraded internal buffer from Nikon) and you have to wait for the images to offloaded to the Compact Flash Card.
Doug uses this camera as his primary Digital SLR. He uses it for Scenics, Macro, or anything that does not involve fast action. Doug also uses this as his underwater camera in the Secam underwater housing.
