Nikon F5
Doug infrequently uses a 35mm Film base SLR, but under some circumstances it is the right tool for the job. For example when traveling for long periods without electricity (10 days river rafting in the most remote place in Canada...See Ravens Throat under Trips). When using a film SLR Doug uses the Nikon F5. This is a wonderful camera and works and feels very similar to the D1X and D1H (which are identical).
